Are the shelves sturdy enough to hold heavier items?

Each shelf can hold up to 150 pounds. The shelves sturdy and can holds a lot of weight which is good for the collection.

Will this glass door come off or will the glass break easily?

PEUKC glass display cabinets use 3C tempered glass to enhance the light transmission and high strength of the glass. And the package protects the glass door so that it is not easy to be damaged.
